2022 Tournament
Results from the 11th Annual Andrew Claymon Memorial Fishing Tournament
 
The 11th Annual Andrew Claymon Memorial Fishing tournament was held at Merritt Reservoir on Saturday, June 11th with 52 teams consisting of 122 youth and adult participants, competing for prizes in 3 divisions, as well as, a new award category this year for total weight of panfish.  The tournament is in memory of 16 year old Andrew Claymon who died of cancer on July 5, 2010.  Results are as follows:
 
Division - 1 adult/1 child 10 years and younger:
 
1st place:  Brooke and Zac Brashears; total weight of 18.52 lbs.
2nd place:  Watson and Brad Michalek; total weight of 15.56 lbs.
3rd place:  Rebel and Zach Nadolski; total weight of 11.68 lbs.
 
Division - 1 adult/1 child 11 – 17 years old:
 
1st place:  Cooper and Mike Leibhart; total weight of 23.99 lbs.
2nd place: Gus Ganser and Delbert Smith; total weight of 15.52 lbs.
3rd place:  Nash and Doug Hesse; total weight of 13.05 lbs.
 
Division - 1 adult/2 children 17 years and younger:
 
1st place:  Lane, Sam and Jason Citta; total weight of 24.25 lbs.
2nd place:  Mackenzie, Kendall and Troy Brown; total weight of 18.52 lbs.
3rd place:  Jake, Morgan and Dave Ishii; total weight of 18.30 lbs.
 
Panfish Award Category:
 
1st place:  Cam and Seth Brashears
2nd place:  Maxx McSweeney and John Michalek
3rd place:  Sam and Jay Osburn
 
Heaviest largemouth bass:  Cooper and Mike Leibhart; 5.03 lbs.
Heaviest northern pike:  Cooper and Mike Leibhart; 6.39 lbs.
Heaviest walleye and Overall Heaviest Fish:  Jake, Morgan and Dave Ishii; 9.13 lbs.
 
Trophies, medals, fishing/camping/outdoor merchandise, cash and Scheels gift cards were presented to the Top 3 in each division.  Every youth participant was also recognized and received a fishing medal and a merchandise prize.
